When i heard this version I cried with tears of joy. It moved my soul. Leon Bridges go back into the studio and rerecord this song just like this version and rush it to every radio station possible. Get on any television show thst will let you on and play it. This music is fabulous. I don't have all of the words to describe it.

Just watched Leon on SNL and I'm hooked.. What a beautiful soulful voice and old school style.... He is going to the top.. And he is humble......... Paid his mama's bills with his first earnings..... I love this guy!

Quinn Devlin These videos are recorded in as few takes as possible since the crew is on a tight schedule all day. Sticking with the performers equipment makes it easy to move things on and off stage and to keep the performers comfortable so they can do their best and minimize the shoot schedule. Sure, it probably could have been used, but in a situation like this it's best to keep things simple and flowing quickly.

It just so happened that fellow CMS artist Judith Gonzalez was visiting us and had her vintage guitar handy. John Price The guitar was a loaner from Jude Gonzales of Reinventing Jude. I will try to find out what it was precisely, but the story is pretty funny. Because of a mixup, Leon's guitar did not make it to set that day. Jude just happened to be hanging with the crew that day and wanted to show us this vintage guitar she got. I just so happened that it was the perfect fit for Leon's sound.
