Hello from Tennessee! It was wonderful to spend my morning stitching and coffee with you today! My hubby has picked up the Woobles kits so many times and I've said that I already have so many crochet amigurumi books, but maybe he would like to learn to crochet Pierre himself! He has the Zelda hat pattern and yarn, but hasn't made them yet. Thank you for being so generous. 😊. Thank you for cheering me up too. Those happy vibes are so catching. 😄. Love ya bunches

I want Pierre for me,,,, because my great nephew comes here for Halloween and he has one and wants me to show him how to crochet and make it. I thought it would be so fun to do them together. We have over 1000 trick or treaters so he gets to change costumes a couple of times during the evening. He's 8. So glad your back to podcasting. Grief doesn't heal easily. ❤

Hey Chevy. Canadian here. Eh? After you were done talking about the penguin from the woobles, you and I said together..” I would love to gift Pierre to my granddaughter who wants to learn how to crochet.” I have bought a lion to teach myself (I’m a Leo 😜), and will continue to promise myself that I’ll do it very soon. (And just a heads up, I’m stealing “yo’ yuckin ma’ yum!” My newly adopted dog needs to hear it. 😂😂. Great to see you again. I love seeing someone who has the same grey streaks that I do. (There’s that Leo). 😅.

I’m teaching myself to crochet - as a left hander - have given up on trying to learn right handed ways. Pierre would no doubt help with that. Also, I have one hook that is about fifty years old (not even kidding) so along with penguin cuteness, I’m totally in it for the hook as well! 🐧🧶

I SO agree about the tubular bind off. I hate it with all of my being. When you’re doing a button band or hem with a lot of stitches, you’re GOING to be interrupted 15 times guaranteed, that’s a given. Those wobbles are adorable but with no kids in my life I’ll leave your prize to those who do but it’s great that you’re doing the giveaway. Love it.😊

OMG, Dan's timing is always perfect! Love that he is willing to jump in with his 2 cents as needed! LOL! I stress when I have too many WIPs and currently, I have four...a sweater, an MKAL shawl, a cowl, and a year-long blanket, with two squares per month. I am very much a monogamous knitter and this is giving me stress. The sweater only needs the neckline. I intended to finish before Oct 1st, but golf (and life) took most of my knitting time. The MKAL started Oct 1st, so as I finish clues, I go back to my sweater. The cowl is a door prize for our end-of-season golf luncheon on November 5th, so that is a priority. The blanket squares were supposed to be done monthly over this year, but I am only on the 2nd May square, so I might finish by December 2025. BTW, Pierre the Penguin is super cute. Maybe I should add a crochet Wobble to my WIP parade. As always, love your "S#*t Show" (because I am one) and love you!

Looks similar to Bernat home dec yarn for the Wooble. I did a white, orange and yellow spinner with a pumpkin on the bottom and white, grey, black variegated with a spider. I wouldn't wanna do tubular bind off either. 3 little balls left+Yarmalada=YOU CAN DO IT! I could do a WIP parade but went through them this week and frogged a bunch so it's not quite so bad now. LOVE the colorwork motif on the Witching Hour. OMG THAT MASH UP!!!!

That Voyage sweater in SW is going to grow so much!! And I am so with you on tubular bind off. The juice is NOT WORTH THE SQUEEZE!!! For your sweater, you could try the Hiyahiya Grandma's stretchy bind off as an alternative to the sewn bind off. I personally think that it looks almost the same as the "seamless" look from the sewn bind off. Super easy to remember the steps and good tutorials on KZbin, but you don't have to deal with all that extra yarn which is actually nightmare fuel for me.
