This mod effectively turns the world into a thinly populated post apocalyptic world for the most part it seems like. Except for the HRE most of the world is sparsely populated with vast distances between population centers and enormous stretches of wild land between them. Ming have effectively flipped to the opposite; one big city in a country the size of Europa effectively becoming the thinnest populated region in the world where before it was the most populated region. If I understood the mod correctly that is,that the province population is the size of one province in a un-modded game. Could be interesting to see a game and version of the mod where the population size of the country remains the same, so all the population of the removed provinces gets moved into the one remaining province for that game. And one where other things also get consolidated. My prediction for this game is that whoever controls the princedoms of HRE wins. Lots of high development provinces that will make and break the power of a country. France got a strong land army I think, so they likely have a good chance. But some princedome might take the lead too. Here is to hoping Byzantium does something good, now that its on more equal footing with the Ottomans.

You do the usual show strength wars on your neighbours for 1000s of free monarch points, unite japan, dev it like crazy with the japanese mission tree, and you would be a powerhouse ready to steamroll the world by the time absolutism hits

Now someone should mod this mod, but instead of trying to make all the dev comparable, just add up the dev for all the provinces so you've got provinces ranging from 100 to 1000 dev

Regarding the religious province count, my guess is that all the removed provinces still "exist", they're just not on the map and they're not owned by anyone, and those off-map unowned provinces are being counted by the ledger.
