Honestly, it was stupid of them to make heroes illegal. There are worlds with citizens who can’t always save themselves. Superheroes are there to serve and protect.

@@JustinFrazier_360 yeah. Like, there’d be no Gotham city without Batman… I still miss Conroy 😔 some people just don’t have common sense, that’s all I’m saying. If metropolis didn’t have Superman, then that city would be a wasteland of crime and danger.

Exactly! Removing superheroes from society is basically like telling every person on Earth to leave their front doors wide open all night; it’s just asking for trouble. And BTW, if the police had been doing their job and give chase to the Underminer as soon as he surfaced, the Parr’s might not have had to get involved in the first place. But nope, instead they arrived precisely when you’d expect them to show up; AFTER the bad guy gets away.

(2:27) Fact: The police officer saying "FREEZE!" was from the recorded archive of The Incredibles (2004).

@@JustinFrazier_360 So that same police officer truly got revenge on Mr. Incredible by arresting him.

As superhero, Mr. Incredible was in the wrong here. But as a father, Bob was totally in the right. Violet and Dash are NOT Detective 3’s kids. He had NO right to raise his voice to them and pressure them like that. And don’t give me that “he’s an officer of the law doing his job” bullshit! The police are supposed to protect the greater good, not traumatize children.

It was one of those catch 22 type things where the action is obviously wrong, but it is kind of understandable why'd it be done.
