Yes. Visits to the volcanoes are a must, for boarding, climbing, sights, smells, sounds... My favorite was climbing one at 3 AM with a group with a guide. They had a bonfire ready for us up on the edge of the cinder cone, but we could go around the side away from the light and have the most spectacular view of the night sky, complete with a meteor shower. And then the sunrise - Oh, my! Mighty memories of Mombacho from many moons past.
