Such an interesting opera, written in two languages. I’m not sure whether this is the only one, though I’m sure Jeffrey knows. Lovely aria with a top 10 performer. Great.

For this opera, Handel set a German translation of an Italian libretto, but some of the arias were left in Italian, so the opera itself is in two languages, as you point out. It was a common practice in Hamburg at the time, so I'm sure there are other examples (I just don't happen to know any). I'm very fond of Emőke Baráth's singing, and I've promoted her previously on my channel.
