In this new Top 10 on Thailand I recommend what in my opinion are the 10 things to do and see in Chiang Rai and its surroundings, in the far north of Thailand!
Although Chiang Rai in itself is not a town that we can define as beautiful, it definitely deserves to be included in your travel itinerary in Thailand.
I chose to visit this city, in the far north of Thailand, not with a fleeting day trip from Chiang Mai, as is often done, but by stopping for a couple of nights, so as to be able to calmly visit many of its very particular and reach the heart of the Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet, immersing yourself in the dark waters of the Mekong.
But Chiang Rai is not just its white temple or the Golden Triangle, in fact there are really many things to do and see here and I hope this video can be useful to you if you are planning a trip to Thailand!
