After 3 years, it is time for a revisit and update of the firearms longevity (thus far).

Good evening. I picked up my own Pak-9 a few weeks ago and have already run about 250 rounds through it. However I've used only Glock mags so far and can't seem to get more than five rounds through it before it has a FTF or FTE. AS I've used both OEM standard capaity, prog mag 33 round, and some generic see through ones I'm fairly certain it's not just a magazine issue. My guess is either the magazines aren't sitting right in the well, or there's a mechanical issue throwing off the timing. Did you find yours more reliable with Glock or Beretta mags, and or did you find the firearm preferring to be fired a certain way that led to fewer jams? Because if it's not my mags or the magwell then it's the gun.

thnx for the video. mine has been 100% with national mags and 0% with promags. I downloaded both to 25, have not tried the 10 rounders it comes with. The trigger is actually decent, much nicer than my Evo right out of the box.

Thank you of the update. Its good to know that a simple peen on the detent pin fixed the issue. My only concern with that is if you ever want to replace the firing pin altogether.
@Bruva_Ayamhyt6 жыл бұрын
The failure to eject was probably due to you inserting the mag while the bolt was closed. Doing that supposedly bends the lip of the mag.
@Internaught-The-Wise2 жыл бұрын
Plus the mags it comes with are trash. Glock mags ZERO malfunctions
@Jake6string7 жыл бұрын
I have had no problems with mine and I have the 35 round mags and I drilled out the dimples in those 10 round mags and they hold 16 and work perfect. No miss feeding or jams of any kind and I went through 500 rounds.

What about adding a Streamlight TLR-2 with light and laser on the top rail. It would be upside down but should be functional as a laser aided aiming and a light.
@intoweapons8 жыл бұрын
you would lose function of your iron sights I would think.
@RKHarm248 жыл бұрын
***** Yes you would but then you just rely on the laser dot for close workk, CQB.

I tried four different brands of ammo fte over and over runs fine on s&b 124gr but nothing else it was a very poor choice.

Was thinking of buying 1 but. That pin walking out and picatinny rail falling off id no good for me. I think ill get a draco instead

Never saw the value of these type of firearms, but that just me. I do like the pistol caliber carbine, that I can get behind. Good videos, keep um coming. You never did the AK update video, at least I didn't see one !!
@intoweapons8 жыл бұрын
thanks, much appreciated! ak collection update? usually I try to get them out between Feb and April of the following year (used to work better with schedule). Not sure on this year as things are a bit scattered for me right now, but hopefully sooner than later!

Is this pistol legal to carry in public mainly in car for self defense?

YO needs a 50 Rd mag & it would be way more sweet! I'd be worried about such a short barrel by the gas block. maybe concerns of being over gased or under is that problem?
@intoweapons8 жыл бұрын
Gas block doesn't actually perform as one, merely a housing for the bolt carrier "tip" which balances the blow-back design. To be honest, I think the design is sound and the malfunctions were caused by either the ammo, or bad beretta magazine follower spring. thanks for watching!

can a brace be installed?
@intoweapons8 жыл бұрын
good question, we wondered the same things ourselves tonight at the gun range... Thought I remember seeing a picture online of one with a brace on it, but I could be wrong. I have yet to detail strip the pistol, so I wouldn't be sure until then unfortunately. Will do a breakdown video soon! thanks for watching!

Cheap ammo will cause failures. You can hear the bullet barely make noise when it malfunctioned.

you think this pistol is california legal? shit nowadays even slingshots are illegals in cali
@intoweapons7 жыл бұрын
not really sure on that one, not very familiar with the laws in CA. It has a detachable magazine, which would need to be addressed first I think.
