Take it from me, this gentleman is and should be a go to person if you're dealing with this type of medical condition. He's an inspiration to me, and other than arthritis, I have no medical conditions. I met him at the gym and I'm sure he's a total inspiration to everyone there whom knows of his condition. Just seeing how he's determined not to let this condition get him down, is truly amazing to me. At times I'm in total shock at how he seems to be on that treadmill endlessly. I wish him much continued success in his journey.

Thank you for informative videos. I myself am almos nine weeks post op today! I’m still exhausted and balance is still off. I also Get shock like sensations time to Time back my head . I’m wondering did you go through any of these symptoms? Thank you!

I just went 7 months post op and planned on doing a video today and fell asleep and just woke up. So I'm still exhausted the shock feeling wasn't or hadn't been an issue thus far. I do still have some mini dizzy spells so balance is an issue from time to time but overall surgery has been a blessing. Thanks for your comment as I'm trying to reach more warriors and comments, subscribers and likes always help.

When can you bend? I’m about 4 weeks post op I dropped my EarPod and I instinctively picked it up real quick I feel okay but I don’t want to mess anything up.

I felt fine bending around the the 4 week mark. It was looking over my shoulders like you would while driving that took the longest. It was about 9 weeks before I could go to the gym and start doing workouts.

@@Over_Fifty Thank You for responding I was worried because I read 6 weeks but I feel good my neck muscles are a little sore but I can turn my head from side to side. I love to workout but I know I need to wait sometime before I get back in the gym my neurosurgeon said I could get on the treadmill as soon as I felt ready.

@@racquel_thagoddess5679 that is what my doctor told me regarding the treadmill. When you feel up to it you can do it. Of course you have to drive to the gym. Usually after 6 weeks driving isn't an issue but with me being over fifty that made my recovery time closer to 8 weeks. If you use any machines your doc will likely tell you to drop the weight as low as possible for the first week and upnit from there as you feel comfortable.
