I'm glad someone is doing better than I! Had my surgery in October of 21! 9 months later still struggling with neck pain & shoulder pain. Still having foggy vision & headaches!

@@Over_Fifty Yeah! He recommended me to another Nero! Interesting considering he's the (Best) in the country! We've been playing the waiting game. Since then neuropathy is starting to set in.

@@501Caution who did he refer you to? I was referred to the Mayo Clinic and my doctor was great. Of course everyone's situation is different but I cannot say a bad thing about my doc.

@@Over_Fifty I'm a laid back type of guy but I'm starting to become real vocal lately! I'm tired of the muscle relaxers that don't work & the pain pills that don't work. My job has let me go so no insurance & bills are starting to mount up! My appointments are months apart. Asking for another MRI is sinful in thier eye! I know something else is going on but I'm tired of waiting for a different outcome!

@@501Caution when my situation prevented itself I got in to and NGST, NS, ANOTHER NS and more tests all in about a period of a month. Guess I was really lucky.

Everyone says how bad it is to get an LP when you have Chiari cause it can further bring your brain down. But it’s also vital to get the CSF leak cleared as the cuase of the herniation. You know… so I won’t go into detail. But I know how important it is but I’m so scared for the Myelogram becuase of the increased pain after. Did they give you any pain killers, also scared it will cuase a new leak. Ugh then you have that on top of regular pain we have…. I can’t even imagine. Anyway. Who did your Decompressikn, and Lp(Myleogram)

I wasn't given painkillers because the headaches were temporary. The Mayo Clinic Jacksonville did all of my tests and procedures.
