I think the only filler part was Runuganga showing up again and swallowing them at the end. They get sucked into the sand and end up in an underground forest of crystal trees and Menos Grande. The filler is kinda cool, best buddy Ashido is in it, and then we never hear from or think about him again.

Another FYI: Ichigo & company weren't caught in quicksand -- it really was an ant-lion pit, just like Uryu said. An ant-lion is the larva of a carnivorous insect, and it feeds mainly on ants. But rather than hunting, it digs a cone-shaped pit in the sand, and lies in wait at the bottom with only its head and jaws sticking out. When some unlucky ant stumbles into the pit, it's nearly impossible to escape, because the slope is too steep and the sand is too loose. That's why the Japanese call it "ari-jigoku" (literally, "ant hell") -- the poor insect sees its doom coming, but can't do a thing about it.

I think it's ok to basically consider any extra content that doesn't directly contradict the things that follow it to be effectively "canon" even if a the majority of it isn't necessary to the story. Hell, even Don Kanonji isn't manga canon, but shows up in the LNs, I feel like this fandom is (or at least has been) less hostile to the idea of the world being more than what the creator made it.

The way I look at it, if kubo doesn't contradict it then it's best to treat it as the most likely option. At least until it is confirmed canon or non-canon.

Calculate the amount of air a tornado is moving and at what speed, along with the distance of the circumference to get the tornado displacement per second, solve for number of people to make the equation balanced. You'd need to have everyone throw a single punch and leave their fists forward or the force of them resetting would cancel out most/all of the changes you made to the tornado. The Normies have finally been introduced to the Yachiru of the Hollows. It is disappointing that Kubo teased us with the possibility of Orihime taking action, only for her determination to destroy the hogyoku to go absolutely nowhere. One of the biggest letdowns of the series.

“Go absolutely nowhere” 1. Why would Aizen let her get near it when he knows her power 2. Why would they not have they’re eyes on her 3. How do you know her power would even work on the hogyoku 4. Orihime had no chance to get close to it and by the time the soul reapers arrived in Heuco mundo Aizen already put it in his body. What Orihime said was a thought an idea of what she could do if the circumstances were right. She has no idea if she can destroy the hogyoku and Aizen has no idea if she can speed up the process. Both were gambling here But Aizen isn’t incompetent he is intelligent and knows what could happen. If Orihime somehow did destroy it you would then complain about Aizen being an incompetent villain for letting her get to it.

You could erase that moment as well as Aizen showing her the hyogoku completely and nothing would change. He had her captured to draw the Soul Reapers in. He didn’t need to talk to her at all. Plus, people are already calling Aizen an incompetent villain because he gave Ichigo so many chances to defeat him( even though that’s what he wanted) and when he was moments away from his goal, instead of creating the Okan he waste time chasing Ichigo’s friends.

A stronger power makes the hogyoku evolve further. You thought Aizen destroying the cleaner and leaving the dangai in that state was a mistake? Also even after all of that he didn’t die. “Waste time chasing Ichigo’s friends” you literally just said “even though that’s what he wanted” so why would Aizen destroy the cleaner and let ichigo stay there and not wait for him to face him? Especially when the Hogyoku’s power was still not at its peak. Also Gin wasn’t gonna let him do that before doing his own plan.
