If it makes you feel any better, Benny and Sal from Comic Pop both knew about the concept of the absolute universe years before it was announced. Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson had been thinking about doing something like it since 2019 and Benny told on a stream a few months ago that Scott pulled Benny and Sal aside at a comic con a couple years ago and told them that he’s working on an “ultimate universe for DC”. I’m sure he would have loved it so much. R.I.P Benny.

I mean we effectively already have that, just not in name, there are social allegiances in every structure, in companies it happens to be between management echelons. As we head towards monopoly, and we are well on the road to that in most industries (meaning that one day it will likely be ALL industry under one monopoly or at the most a handful if regulations are not imposed to prevent it) with the rise of extremely powerful multinational corporations, there likely will eventually be a global league of middle managers With the Kryptonian society in the Absolute Universe they at least have the scientists at the top (even if they are extremely dogmatic and unable to consider anything outside said dogma) because we have middle management at every level, or at least people who should be middle management at best in positions with far more power than they can handle.

This new alternate Superman and alternate Krypton for this new universe is both intriguing AND a call-back to back when Superman's epithet was "Champion of the Oppressed". Hahaha this voice of Rob reminds me of the old days when he was still recording in the mornings. With the deep bass-y boom. Back to basics Rob 🎉
