Just realized, as people have noted and Rav confirmed, the album is a loop as depression is a cycle, it ends with him blowing out the dandelion petals, and the first song of the album is titled “dandelions” and mentions them hitting the ground. Thematically though they also go hand in hand, in the final song Rav requests his future self never “envy the me now”, but Dandelions is the opposite, as Rav laments being unable to reach a past version of himself.

Considering it all loops I'm wondering if there was intention behind Prosthetic Self-Love being the 4th song, ie the one in the very middle of the album, it's the track where Rav actually says "I'm On To Me". So maybe it could be considered the actual start of the album amidst the loop, although I could be overthinking it. Either way it's guu stuffs.

This album is so monumental in my life, it expresses so many emotions that without this album I'd probably think them to be unnatural. It helped me feel normal at a time when normalcy felt like such a quickly fleeting concept. It feels like someone talking about my problems for me, problems that I wouldn't tell anyone about otherwise. It's such a relatable album and I truly envy rav for his courage and strength. This album ensures that I'll never forget about my problems, not in a way that prevents me from moving on, but in a way that helps me reflect and learn from it.

Rav, I don’t know if you’ll ever read this, but this album is genuinely so important to me. Last year was a very rough time for me. Maybe the darkest point in my life for a number of reasons. But this album made me feel less alone, validated what I was feeling and made me feel less afraid I think. I know you’ve said before that a lot of making music for you is self-serving but from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

I've been listening to this over and over since it got released. It's one of those albums where I keep noticing new things. For example, there's this very "soft/gentle"-sounding noise (grey noise?) in Me? Never, which is present in the entire track. I thought it faded away, but it's actually still there and it has a really interesting effect, especially when it's gone. That difference makes Molasses stand out more and signifies the shift in tone. I just mean to say that there is a lot going on in these songs. This is the type of album where my favourite song from it changes as I find out more about the song and as I listen to it in different headspaces. Which is awesome, cuz I've been looking for some new music to obsess over and I've found it. I was already into Kill Bill and Rav, but this album helped me discover Scuare. I'm really glad I finally did cuz DAMN those vocals are smooth.

This is amazing. These songs produce visuals in my mind while I'm listening, the production and sample selection gives off this wonderful sense of abstractness. It's like going through a 70's-nostalgic black hole that's being interrupted by occasional spikes of bombastic pockets of noise. Voices taper off and circle around you like phantoms, the "p's" on the mic sound like someone speaking into your ear, the flows run smooth like polished granite and the rhythm runs rampant as if a raging rhino stole his snare. This is absolutely getting played on repeat for the next week, and I doubt I'll be tired of it by the time I put it in a playlist and try to move on. alliteration, for some 2 am fun: The rhythm runs rampant as if a raging rotund rhino had profusely railed regal reamed roadrunners rotating on a rare righteous rhododendron, who's refuse refused rotary reclamation, thus rioting radically for removal of royalty. Raccoon's rack raises returning roars from rink-skink's rinky-dink rottweilers. Rhythmic refusal reeks of red wreaths, reared by red-headed redemption-gained racketeers. Radicated rabble radiate radiation and radiate regularly towards wrecked rubble, reefing on reefed-up retrograding riff-raff.
