The best Cover ever with a gorgeous, god given voice!

Not necessarily a cover. Nile Rodgers was approached by David Bowie to much an album and let’s dance was their signature song in that album

One of the best covers of the Late Bowie's greatest hits! Producer Nile Rodgers sure brought David that funk in '82!

Well Nile was the producer and bass player on the orginal for david bowe. So he would know how to set this up to be perfect and true to the original

@@GregMcIver Carmine Rojas played the bass on this. Nile did the rhythm guitar and arrangement.

How come it's the incredibly talented DRUMMER that sings this... doesn't he have enough to do without having to be the one everyone will be pointing fingers at whilst everyone else is taking the credit? I gotta say, I'm 54 years old so forgive me but I remember Chic and Nile Rogers from way back when... Nile is an incredible talent and he's collaborated with many people and bands over the past few years to produce more wonderful sounds/songs/music. Thank you and bless you for continuing to bring us grooves and much happiness xx

I got a chance to see Chic in concert in Dallas when they opened for Duran Duran on 4/19/2016. From the minute Nile Rodgers and the band got o stage everyone was up and dancing. Every song was spot on and it felt like it was our own dance club. I was surprised all the other songs that Nile Rodgers was involved with. What talent, what a gift. Old and young... Chic has no age limit when it comes to their music.

That drummer is one heck of a drum player..." he plays and sings" I love Nile Rogers He is awesome! but the drummer I think his name is Omar he definitely Deserves a lot of the credit! He is Awesome all by himself! but at the same time, the 2 of them are a marriage made in heaven best cover of this song I ever heard ... Chic Will always be one of my all-time favorites so many Great memories when I hear their Music thanks for the video a lot of awesomeness in one Band. :)

@davidp26404 жыл бұрын
Candido Osorio . Exactamente. Tu lo has dicho.

….it’s great all the comments here appreciate this classic piece… but let’s give some credit to the GREAT Stevie Ray Vaughan whose guitar licks are all this album…so if claim to appreciate this song put some respect on SRV’s contribution to not only this song but the whole album..peace out, y’all!

Nile was the producer for let's dance. So it is a cover. As he worked with david on it and played the bass in the original. But chic never released it david did. So therefore this is a cover and damn good one. Should really brush up on facts before you post. Saves everyone time and energy in having to educate you
