Hello dear, a good tip for use the left click, like others softwares, just change the user preferences (input) and select left. I've tried that and it's better for me. :)

Don't agree since most of the folks are using the Blender default. It really isn't that difficult to right click - LOL. Certainly not a good plan for teaching folks. But if that works for you, great and enjoy! :D

Thank you for the tip Sarita, I discovered it watching another video for beginners . It can be very useful for some people, however teaching it to beginners can confuse them when everybody else including all kinds of tutorials talk about right click to select. :) I tried it then reverted to the default. I still hit the left click to select but that's an easy mistake to correct :)

This is true. Also, Blender Guru said that the new update will have the left click automatically so it's best to switch it now as a beginner. I suppose it's just preference. I prefer to switch it now.
