On a public television concert special with them a couple years ago here in the states, they were interviewed in between songs. They still find it very hard to talk about Terry Kath without breaking down in tears. Still raw after all these years. What a loss. Check out "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is" by them next (preferably studio version). Then "Saturday in the Park".

You said it all...Old Chicago, Rock Chicago, Terry Kath Chicago. Their first album is one amazing song after another. There are quite a few Chicago songs that are just as amazing as this one, but it has to be early Chicago. Once they changed their style to nothing but ballads, that was the end for me. Give me the loud high energy Chicago. It can't be beat.

That effect on the guitar is called a wha-wha pedal.. It kinda looks like a gas pedal on your car and if you press it as you're playing the notes it gives you that cool effect.. Do some Peter Frampton, Do you feel like I do or Joe Walsh, Rockie Mountain Way and you'll hear my all-time favorite guitar accessory and that's the talk box, which sends the guitar sounds into the players mouth through a tube..

The name of this song came from after a long day and night in the recording studio, they were sitting and laying on the floor, someone asked what time it was, and one of them who was lying down looked at the wall clock behind him, and started saying it was "25... or 6 to 4:00." He was seeing the clock upside down, so it looked like it was 25 past the hour, but realized it was the opposite, six minutes to four o'clock. Make sense?
