Chicago Apartment Hunting: North Side, Part 2- A successful day of tours!

Hey Everyone! Today's video we are apartment hunting on the Northside, Edgewater area. Part 1 didn't go as planned but thankfully in this one we saw plenty! Hope you all enjoy!

@@Chesca99 When you move, move near Belmont and Lake Shore Drive. North or south a block or two you can't go wrong. The closer to Lake Shore Drive the better. The express bus goes downtown at Belmont. Lakefront life is the best life in Chicago! It's very safe compared to Chicago going west. You can bike downtown, then bike back up north at night and you should be safe because everyone else is out there biking or jogging. Early in the springtime, make sure you sign up to play Beach Volleyball at North Ave. Beach with Chicago Sports Social. North Ave. Beach has the BEST SAND! Sign up for Co-Ed 6's or start your own team! Also, make sure you have a nice bike! You want to move super close to the lakefront. North of Belmont, you will start to run into a lot of homeless people and foreign people. It's a totally different vibe and not too safe at night if you're walking home from the grocery store. Stayed at 5815 n.Sheridan years ago....building has heating issues do not move there I will freeze n the winter....l moved n July...moved out n nov. I almost froze 2 death...

Pray about it make sure you have a decent amount of savings make sure you look around neighborhoods especially at night look at the crime rates

Look at condo buildings much nicer....5100 n marine....4250 n. Marine...both w 24/ 7 doorman...laundry....swimming pool.....4250 has a store and cleaners
