Yeah, I hate the parking situation in Chicago! Hopefully you find a good spot in LVE. I love West Loop. But if you’ve been there for awhile then it’s understandable you’d wanna try a different neighborhood!

Chicago apartments are still behind in comparison to most of the U.S. and the ones that are more modern are super expensive.

the parking in this city is touuuugh. I honestly would rather not have a car now that I work closer to home. also in unit laundry! I would kill for that!

If a new emigrant want to rent and he doesn't have credit history how is it possible to find a place to rent? Especially in Chicago

I think if you have bank account statements that show you have a decent amount of money might help & you’d probably have to find an individually owned landlord property. I think a corporate owned apartment building would be too difficult since they would for sure do a credit check. You could also reach out to apartment locators (their services are typically free) & they would be able to find places for you that may rent to you.
