I"m trying to resign Shelton as a backup and then sign Drew Dalman to start. You have Ricky Stromberg as your developmental center. Use your early draft picks on guards or D-line.

Having Shelton is a great idea I don't think people realize how much Dalman doesn't fit the Bears for the gamble he would be at 26 years old. This would be a Nate Davis type of gamble, but maybe it would work this time

I just watched Jared Wilson-Granger's tape against Tennessee he looks really good! Snaps were good, he was always on the 2nd and 3rd level! He's definitely the move! He looks the part from the tape!

The vet I would sign Drew Dalman or Coleman Shelton. Since, Poles doesn't like to draft Centers or Guards before the 200th pick... I wouldn't be upset if the Bears draft a center in the 2nd or 3rd round. Jake Majors and Jared Wilson are my top prospect that currently play center. I like Seth McLaughlin but his Achillies injury is pretty concerning for me.

I don't think it's that they didn't know, it's that they weren't willing to trade down for the extra pick. Shelton actually has been solid. It takes big kahonies to make a trade down. You have to have conviction

So even though it completely unrealistic. I had two interesting mock drafts today where Graham and Carter were selected already. However Jeanty was somehow still available. First one I traded back with Buffalo and got the haul. I ended with their 29th, 61st, 62nd, and 2 future picks. I traded around to pickup 15 total picks. With 7 of those picks in the first 100. I picked up Princely, Milum, Harmon, Fannin Jr, Watts, Ratledge, Wilson, and Skattabo with my 8th pick in the 4th round. So the second time I played it that the Bears fixed the OL in free agency. No trade draft, picking Jeanty, Jackson, Sanders, Paul Jr, Bartholomew, Moore, and Keenan III.

I can’t agree more, even when Shelton was getting pummeled in the beginning of the season there was still a little voice in my head saying that he’d be okay. It never said he’d be one of the best but that’s a bonus. You’re changing the coach again so I feel you have to keep some type of continuity with Caleb. And you draft your center of choice for the future. It’s writing on the wall and we’re in prime position to fix these needs in the trenches. Poles each offseason since you been here you’ve done your job (for the most part) with the exception of all the losing you have put us in position to gain everything we need through the draft just like you said you would. This is the final piece to this confusing puzzle and what you have been avoiding this whole time. Fix the trenches and the coaching staff. This your last chance my boy, for all the reasons you’ve shown us so far… I do have faith in you.

But he can block bro go pull up Usc vs Michigan this year. That's him vs 2 Top 10 Blue 🔵 DTs imo. He fought the whole game and I seen him do double blocks on those guys. Hit Grant let the blocker take over and then run a consensus Top 5 DT out of the play by himself. 😱 Ok ✔️. Next play you watch him just holding 1 of those guys up. He stopped the DL from going gangbusters by himself. 💯 Let Usc climb back into that game as he went back and forth between the DTs slowing and stopping them. 1st Rd Preseason Grade by alot of people to be a 7th Rd pick now. Smh. People drafted Duke LTs last year to make them a Center or Guard so... I see the fact he played Tackle as a +. That game was the best Center game of the year by far. I scouted this year watching games live a lot more. Stewart the Michigan DE who transferred was unstoppable in the pass rush that game. He honestly looked like a Top 10 pick at Edge.

I really hope we take a center in R2. Ideally, I'd love to sign Becton in FA (smith is a pipe dream) Draft Carter in R1. Draft a LT in r2 and play them at Guard while Braxton gets another year at LT. Draft a C in R2. I could gamble and take an RB in r2 and draft a center in R3 or r4 Take BPA or a big DT in r3. PS: if the jets beat the phins, the jags beat the colts and the panthers beat Atl, the Bears can get the #6 pick. We could def land carter or graham at #6 which is what we desperately need. 2 QB's would go top 5. and i doubt the raiders or giants take Dline. both are loaded on Dline. The scouts probably never really turn over.
