Mason Graham will go Top 5. I think the DT next to him is just as good and will go late 1st-early 2nd. I think they go DE or LT in the 1st since it's a prime position and need. So that 2nd-3rd is where I'm looking DT. Moving up even.

Maybe you can try looking at it under different FA scenarios. For example find the 5-6 weakness or most upgradable groups... For example look at OG, C, DE, DT, RB... Then fill 2-3 different ones in FA in different arrangements then targeting the other positions with picks.

yaa. that makes sense. you dont fill all your needs with draft picks. We could easily sign hassan reddick, Trey Smith & jordan mason and then use our picks to have more oline and dline.

@@shake6321 exactly. Who you pick in FA doesn't matter so much as the hole is filled. Makes it really fun coming up with a good reason to look for ways to draft more potential blue chippers at lower positional values. For example get the next all pro safety, linebacker, or running back without sacrifice. Plan a year ahead for the next contracts ending in 2026... Or 2027.

@@Beardownsports with 60-70MM in FA cap space you have room for 2 maybe 3 splashes. For example last year we got Keenan, Swift and Byard. Year before Davis and Edmunds... Not all will hit but each of those guys were considered to fill starter roles at an above average level.

@@mickey4569 the issue is that we really need studs on Oline and Dline. so we cant just "hole fill". Sweat is our #1 Dlineman and ideally he is more of a #2. eventually, in order to win a SB, you'll need a really good oline to beat philly or KC or the Bills who have dominant Olines. Thats why the Bears cant just get Reddick & Trey smith and then draft jeanty and some other top prospect at LB in the 2nd round. (lower positional values) They prob need to use those picks and double up on Dline and oline. Even if you gave the Bears Saquon Barkely & Derwin James, the best players at their low value positions, the Bears arent winning anything. Our lines simply arent good enough. We cant run block or pass block good enough to have an elite offense. We cant stop the run or rush the passer good enough to be an elite defense.

I have a couple questions for you #1 how likely do you think it being possible for poles to sign the all world guard from kc ,#2 could you show what it would potentially look like to use the 6th & 7th rounders for trade up since you said in the past that those picks are usually depth pieces & we're growing further from needing them

#1 Throw enough money (which I'm all in favor of in this case) #2 they won't move you up at all in the first couple rounds but you could package them with a 5th to move up to the 4th or a 3rd to slightly move higher in the 3rd. I like both scenarios though. It's nice to dream of getting a late round flyer or a LB nobody else saw, but using trade value is nice too 🐻⬇️

Ideally you’d draft atleast 1 IOL… lot of money to sign premium guards. Sign trey smith and use a 2nd on a guard. Run it back with Shelton and draft a C in round 3 to develop

I really like Kaleb Johnson. If we can trade down to the end of the 2nd and get Kaleb Johnson that would be great. I feel like getting a power RB would benefit the offense so much. If Graham or Carter are gone by our draft spot I would trade down and get more picks in the 2nd and 3rd round range. This will be the golden zone this year.

Great show Adam. I prefer the no trade path if it will get us Mason Graham or the next best. We definitely need to shore up our interior DLine. Despite having a hard time reconciling Graham’s angelic face with the monster on field😮, I think he could be our next fridge. Any chance we might trade up to get him? Top 5-7.

I really don't see a trade up scenario happening in the top 5-7. Especially with the needs we have, but maybe if we have an absolute slam dunk of a free agency class? Now is the time to pounce on going all in though while we have the rookie QB contract

What do you think about drafting an OG and center combo from the same school. Texas and Georgia both have upside players in both spots. They would already have chemistry.

Mason Graham will go Top 5. i doubt he lasts past 10. We will prob be able to get a DE with a mid first round pick. Its a pretty weak LT draft. I like the ohio state kid coming off an injury. The Bears have too many pass catchers: DJ, Rome, Kmet & Swift. We dont really need a 2nd TE. I'd just pick up a vet off of FA.

Nfl mock draft database is probably the most accurate draft simulator at the moment. Mason graham most likely won’t be there at 11. Mike green is probably a rd2 pick. And I don’t think there are any pure guards that’s will be taken in the 1st.

The Bears need: Edge, DT, NT, Safety OT, Guard, C & RB I'd love to sign an Edge like Reddick. Draft a DT like Tyleik Williams in the 2nd round. sign a vet NT/DT. that would be 3 new Dline. If we did that, we can then draft 2 olineman with our 2 of our top 3 picks. And we could also sign a Guard. that would give the bears 3 new Olineman as well.

@@gerardoblanco7628 There is ZERO chance you can start 3 rookies on oline. so taking 3 would be pointless. Plus, i am hoping we sign, at the very least, a legit Guard and maybe a center. i think Bears bring back Braxton and Wright at tackles. Also, i think the Bears give Kiran Amegadjie a chance at Guard next year. so that 3 olineman right there. if the bears sign a guard then they wont even draft oline with any of their top 60 picks. they can just draft a center in r3 or r4. i know that would piss people like you off but i could see the bear not take oline at all. i hope that not the case. id love to see the bears draft Josh Simmons from OSU and let him play Guard next year while braxton gets one last shot at LT. Some teams dont care about center. its not a very high impact position so they want to spend the least amount of money at that position. GM's have a method of doing business. they bring in some vets and some young players at all their positions. that way, they manage their finances and dont have to pay or lose all their players at once as part of a group.

My Dream Offseason: Bring back Keenan & Sandborn. Cut: Edmonds, Everette. Hire Ben Johnson. Make Robert Salah our DC FA: sign hassan reddick, Trey Smith, jordan mason & another NT/DT as good as billings to be a back up. Draft: and then use our picks on LT Josh Simmons, Tyleik Williams (DT) & maybe your boy Wyatt Milum in r2. You could still draft a Center or RB in R3 and DB's or LB's in R4/R5. The Team would be loaded. It seems as Poles & Co want to sign guys who are about to hit their prime. that way, we get their best years. I wonder what Dlineman are like that? they have to upgrade our lines or we are not winning games.

@@Beardownsports Tyleik Williams showed me some good size, speed & moves. and usually guys with those traits can be drafted in R2. but who knows. he might be more of a nose and thus falls to 4th/5th round type of guy. I am very early into my process so maybe there are better versions of Tyleik Williams out there that i havnt seen yet. i want mason in R1 but thats prob not gonna happen. and i dont want the bears to lose 5 more games in a row to make it happen. lol. i rather us win our last 5 games.

Why would the bears need a TE? we have 5 pass catchers and have little to no use for a 2nd TE. there are already too many mouths to feed on this offense. We can barely get kmet and swift involved in our passing game. there is ZERO chance we can get a 2nd TE involved. Rome & DJ should get 125 targets Kmet & swift should get 75 Thats 400 targets right there. And if we keep keenan or get another #3 WR then that guy needs targets as well.

@@Beardownsports yaa, but you can do all that with a vet that you get for cheap. you can sign a 1 million dollar vet to be TE #2 and #3. 2nd round picks have to be special. you are hoping for a dominant starter at a premium position like QB, WR, OT, Dline, CB. heck, just make Everette take a pay cut or just keep him. You gotta use late round picks to find special teams players and players of different personnel groupings. heck, a great team would find those guys as rookie FA's the packers took Tucker Kraft late 3rd round.

@@Beardownsports Kmet is 25. he's barely reached his prime. He can play on the bears for a another decade. We are years away from worrying about a TE. The Bears are set at pass catcher for years with Moore, Rome, Kmet & swift. If we could land a great Olineman, Dlineman and maybe Kaleb Johnson (i dont like drafting RB's but i might make an exception with johnson) our team would really be set. I looked at the South Carolina DT and he's prob better than Tyleik Williams
