@@mrodriguez7560 Understood but take into account all the moves Poles has made since his arrival. He refreshed this roster and put people in place to overturn the culture here while keeping the cap friendly. This team plays with full speed and effort, if you are outworking the next that leads to wins. Therefore, to me this isn’t just the preseason it’s the evolution of this team compared to where they were prior to Poles. The Bears will make some noise moving forward you can count on it.

I'm liking the check down play by fields. Last year he would've taken off and tried to do it on his own, making him vulnerable to injuries. Dump it to your playmakers and try to let them make a play.

the narrative that Fields can't throw is absolutely idiotic. He can if you give him time and his numbers especially the second half of last season was solid considering who he had to throw to. Getting the ball out quickly is something he needs to improve on from last year but he is close to having a breakout year and prove all of the doubters wrong

As a Panthers fan living in Chicago who has been a huge critic of the Bears, I said DJ Moore would be a massive weapons upgrade for Justin Fields. Moore had over 4,000 passing yards at Carolina with average QBs throwing to him. That number is greater than any prior Bears receivers (Jeffrey, Marshall, Robinson, Mooney). It appears Moore and Fields are clicking well which is a great sign for the offense. The Bears defense looked solid.

Yep, this team is going to be REALLy good by mid season, and getting better! Can't remember how long it's been since I seen the Bears D stop people like that, make turnovers, etc. We did not even have all of our D on the field (3rd down!). It was good to see Fields stay with the passing game, it paid off. Now, ty have something to unify around. I always want to win, pre-season or not. But getting out healthy is the most important thing. Go Bears! Bear Down!

And if anyone wants to talk trash and say that it’s only preseason then just laugh at their as bc they would’ve been the first ones hating if Justin would’ve done bad. Plus wtf do you want your team to do every time they take the field… you want them to dominate right? No matter what right? Preseason regular season and even the practice field, you want them to dominate. Well that’s exactly what our QB1 did and ain’t nothing wrong with being proud about that. We’ve been waiting forever for a QB to have a day like that. And I don’t care if he free throw line 2 underhanded granny’d pass it for 5 yards and DJ house it. It doesn’t matter. On the stat sheet does it say Justin threw for 5 yards and DJ ran the rest… no it says 3-3 129 yds 2tds. So like I said enjoy it and we’ll worry about the next game when we play it. 🐻da Fuq ⏬️ while you wait for the salty as haters to come back on tv Monday.

Bagent looks great, accuracy, throwing on the run. This kid looks like a real steel out of West Virginia. Levis on the other side looks like he's got a decent arm as well, but not as accurate as Bagent. DJ Moore is quick widdit, strong receiver not the absolute fastest but quickness can be more important immediately after the catch. The trade looks like a good one depending on how Bryce turns out, Stevenson also looks like he will play an important role on d.

It’s not like Fields actually did anything on those plays though lol and both should have been flagged too. Illegal downfield on Herbert’s, and block in the back for DJ’s. Herbert’s run and staying in bounds was great, but other than that the only thing to be excited about this game was that they were able to get after the QB. How much of it was the rush being good, and how much was it Tennessee’s line being trash? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Best scenarios for the Bears this yr. They be mediocre to good, and Fields shows he's a franchise quarterback, and Moore be a good # 1 receiver. Carolina is terrible this yr and end up with the number 1 or number 2 pick in next yrs draft that goes to the Bears. They use that pick to get another trade haul, and still end up selecting Marvin Harrison Jr, even with Moore being a good number 1 receiver. I just think Harrison is gonna be another Calvin Johnson, and you can't pass on that.

Ok. Fields can throw long, we've seen it. He can throw short. He can now scramble but dump it off instead of running. One more thing I need to see is can he throw it away (out of bounds) if nothing is there? Don't want to see three hard scramble yards or trying to fit it in somewhere. If it isn't there, throw it away, even on third down. Last milestone IMHO.
