Can’t wait for the draft to see how everything plays out Hage looks like a promising prospect but I’m still staying with Liam Greentree who looks like a possible stud in the making he’s been getting better and better every year and was the captain of a very bad Windsor team and posted great numbers but who knows how it plays out going to be exciting either way. I’m also excited about the Hawks rookie tournament this year in St. Louis being able to see all the new young talent for the Hawks in person and on my birthday will be pretty special!

I think you should maybe cover guys like alfons freij and dominic badinka. Guys that have a chance to be at 34 is interesting upside that the hawks should take a swing at.

Lacklustre defensive consistency is an issue with all 18 year old players, looks like a safe pick

Without an obvious difference in talent available between picks 18 and 20, it makes me wonder even more about the logic of the trade with the Islanders. Are not more bites at the apple in the second round more valuable than marginal moves up in the first and second rounds?

It’s hard to say with how big our prospect pool is. Remember we even traded out of the draft last year. Also could be our team has certain guys in mind at 18 or 50

Davidson explained he felt like it was worth it considering how many prospects they have in the pool and picks they have in the future still. We'll see how everything plays out at the draft in terms of whether they move up and who they get. But its getting to the point where they need quality over quantity. So I was A-okay with the move, even though they probably gave up a bit too much.

Yeah with the insane amount of picks the Blackhawks have already made and will still make over the next couple years it’s better to consolidate and get better quality.

What are your criteria for a prospects value? Because for the life of me it’s bizarre how low Lardis and to a lesser extent Hayes is on your list. In my opinion upside is the #1 criteria for a prospect. To me Lardis is only behind Nazar and Moore. I wouldn’t argue if you wanted to put Rinzel over him but that’s it. I don’t think anyone would put someone like Ethan Del Mastro over Lardis. No way is a third pairing defenseman above a possible top six forward. You can pick up a guy like that in free agency for 2 million a year. Even Hayes has top six upside if everything clicks, not a play driver for sure but a pretty good complimentary piece. Can’t really say that about any other prospect except maybe Kantserov.
