Going to Michigan sometime this year so my plan is to swing through Chicago to see if I can see them shooting a scene. That would be pretty neat to see. A little out of the way from I-80 but worth the extra miles put on my truck.

I am now curious how often they had to do this again .. seems quite tiring to drive back and forth hahah .. I have also been an extra once and it is especially a long wait and it has to be repeated very often and in all corners filmed all sides are taken along.. it's long days a lot of respect for these people who have to do it every day!

The show uses real Chicago Fire Trucks until Season 8 and 11 it’s is fictional fire trucks to Illinois around Chicago like Bellwood and La Grange Also Antioch.

I think what he means is that in the big warehouse fire, when the ambulance was driving away with Steven and Brian, you can see a fire engine with 51 on it. I think that's what he means
