My mother and lots of other family grew up on Logan Blv. on the block with the monument. So many of my mothers stories of her childhood center around that neighborhood. One story includes my grandfathers hot dog place that was essentially a pick-up window.

Logan square was the last stop on the cta and the train stopped at kedzei above the terminal restaurant from 1911 to 1971. Polish neighborhood. Rock solid with a real nightlife.

I was raised in Logan Square. I remember when they tore up Milwaukee ave in 1967 and put the L underground. Johns hotdogs on St Louis and Fullerton. Live 2 doors down from the boys club. Eddies pizza by the L station. Goldblatts, Woolworths. Went to Darwin.

I can walk to all the cool restaurants and bars from my house. Second I bought both my home and rental property in Logan back in 96 and it's been a great investment. Third I can walk to the Blueline and get to Downtown or the Airport. @@abhayamvasudhara6184

Fond memories of Logan Square in the late 60's early 70's. Lived there when they built the bus terminal and Logan subway that went to Jefferson park.

Grew up in Wicker Park across the fire station, and by defacto LS & the surrounding areas. Back when the Mega Mall was still around. I hated that place as a kid, now I wish I could’ve explored it as an adult but I think it’s condos now 😩 are you a PR from the Northside? I ask because my dad was a Soxs fan and so many other PR despite growing up on the NS and I didn’t understand why 😂😝 Great videos, Luis!

Hi, I was born in Chicago and after graduating High School I moved to Florida then I lived in Puerto Rico and now I am in Colorado and honestly I've been having a hard time even though I am in living with family its expensive out here. As an outsider it's interesting to see how much Chicago influenced Milwaukee, and I can also see the Milwaukee influences in Chicago (the Coffee house from Milwaukee, and the Main Street in Logan called "Milwaukee")
