This song takes me back a few years back, I was told to leave my parents house due to my excessive drug and alcohol use , I was so lost , lonely and broken. And I didn't even know it . I still had my job but lost the trust from my family and friends , and also pushed most people away. I found a shared accomodations in a city near to where I lived . I had a room and not a lot of possessions , the house had a lounge which had a t.v and KZbin on it . I spent most evenings sat on my own listening to music , drinking and using drugs sometimes. Until I heard this song , I heard it before but never listened to the lyrics. I felt such a connection with it and found myself playing it over and over again. I did this for weeks on end after worked on my days off, I meet some good people during this , and found myself slowly coming away from the madness of drug life. i also meet a girl who is now my close friends and has been for over a year . I focused myself on this song and it helped me in magical ways . This story has no actual end or anything just thought . I'd shared my thoughts .

sikorskiS55 Every now and then, Chicago performs this very SONG, during a live concert on the playlists of that particulars as performances. They and yet still will perform it, even today! Jeff Coffey of whom recently just replaced Jason Scheff in the band, recently performed this song as I ran across it here, on KZbin rather recently. As you know, Jason Scheff, whom HAD taken Peter Cetera's place, in Chicago as their then new and high tenor/bassist guitarist, would sing this. In fact, when my wife and I saw Chicago, performing at the very first and inaugural concert of the then brand new Ford amphitheater, here in Tampa Bay Area (Tampa), Florida, on July 27, 2004, Jason Scheff sang the lead on this SONG -which was on THEIR set playlists for that particular evenings concert performance...Earth, Wind & Fire, just so happened to be touring with Chicago that very particular of summertimes (this, having had what became, then & ever since thereafter, off & on, till PRESENTNESS OF DAYS -in fact, they're touring together, 'RIGHT NOW!' And THROUGH till the END of THIS MONTH, November of 2016! But, in the summertime of 2004, the two bands were on their very first of these 'TOGETHER' and THEIR NOW, revolving a theirs touring performances. My wife and I simply sat there, in UTTERLY of a jaw dropping amazement, completely and as it speechless. And during this performance of this song, we sat as stunned and watching, while interchangeably, the lead singer of Earth, Wind & Fire, Philip Bailey, along and with Jason Scheff, performed this SONG. And while both band's were onstage together, the entirety OF the twosomes and mixed bands, PLAYING together this SONG... I literally, couldn't STOP crying. FACT TO MATTERS BEING, neither was there a dry eye but as it were, or even anywhere round us! If you've never heard the sweet voice of Philip Bailey, ever before? Well, then you are one of whom is having but simply just only missed out, on and hearing, doubtlessly one of the best voices, ever...! If I can find a KZbin live performance of EW&F with Chicago, performing this song, I'll be sure to reposting the video of it and as here, too... 🌞

I have to be honest. I've been a Chicago Fan since CTA (their 1st album) and today has been the first time I've really listen to this song. I even had to look in the web who was singing it when it starts. And lo and behold it's Peter Cetera! Never realized his vocal range till this time. What a beautiful song! Never heard it in the airwaves. Chicago performed in Puerto Rico in the 80's and at the beginning of the 00's and I was there. Greatest band ever!
