Extra point - the chosen garb and decor, and either camera filters or postwork, are all biased toward evoking a blue-green vs. red-orange color palette. It's pretty obviously imitative of 2-strip Technicolor, so it LOOKS a lot like pre-1930s color motion picture film segments from major studios.

Loved watching film of grp. What's impressive is watching them perform in precision and no one is reading music! When camera pans the solos each musician is playing with their eyes closed. I really like the wooden Indian piece. I think it's the Condi brothers dancing.

Dario Lavizzari great, good job, ma penso potete anche andare indietro, agli.anni 20, ci sono spartiti per orchestra originali degli anni 20 oscuri foxtrot italiani dai titoli piu bizzarri, inciso forse solo su qualche rarissimo disco stile eaglephone o pathe actuelle, e un mondo dimenticato totalmente ds tutti, cosi siete molto in concorrenza con le grandi orchestre degli usa e uk, potete esplorare nuove frontiere, "one step" "shimmy" "valse boston" made in italy, cercate la mediolana band che suona il fox delle gemme (1926) e qui su youtube

Very nice and amusing! Very good sound and picture quality But just one thing. The sound mixing is not perfect, if you whant to imitate old recordings. The solo song is far to weak. In original, old recordings the soloist was heard much higher over the orchestra. Partly because there was only one or two microphones!

Her singing and strange maneuvers did it for me, which is a shame because she actually has a cloche and realistic 1930-32 style gown on...but that voice is pure ella Fitzgerald knock off.

There may be musicians as good as these today, but the big difference is that they created styles and their unique personality influenced later generations. The vast majority of jazz musicians are mere imitators and lack their own personality and originality.

This song is not right for this singer. Her voice is too soft for the energy of the orchestra.
