A trade package centered around Owen Caisiee could be a good haul. If you go Caisiee, one of the three between Jefferson Rojas, James Triantos or Cam Smith, Brandon Birdsell and maybe a young upside guy, I'd be all for it. They need star talent, so I'd rather gamble on high upside guys.

Probably be Alcantara , Triantos , Caissie is the only LH OF power bat in the System and Shaw makes Triantos repetitive . That is a fair package that does not hurt the Cubs future roster construction and gives the WSox 2 top bat prospects that are close to ready .

I like your trade idea, but as a Cubs fans Cam Smith is a no go. I don't want him to go anywhere. I have a feeling he's going to be the next great 3rd baseman for the Cubs.

@@scottemory72 Montgomery is a big wild card in all this, if they decide he's too big for shortstop and has to go to 3rd, they can go for Rojas instead of Smith. It also depends on if Ramos shows something in winter ball.

Sure why not the White Sox will be the launching pad for players that want to go to contending teams next year the White Sox won't contend for anything next year either maybe only lose 110 games next year
