We stopped by im-Detail and @AUTOLACKAFFENTV in Berlin, Germany to check out how they have been using and implementing dry ice via @dryiceenergy_original into their detailing businesses. I ❤ how Autolackaffen scoffed at PPF. If I had Ferrari money I wouldn’t worry about rock chips either. I wouldn’t have it long enough to care.

I used to, but after having to deal with imperfect respray and body shop shenanigans, I prefer to keep OEM paint as long as possible. PPF is great for daily drivers.

Jason, you should partner with someone to offer transportation of vehicles to/from detailing. I just bought a new vehicle and if I had the choice I wouldn’t have driven it, risking paint damage until it could be PPF’d.

Jason, I don't think they allow cars to be washed at home in Germany. It's something about pollutants.

Exactly! It’s not allowed on the street or even on your own property! In Germany you have to have it washed in a special place with filtered drainage!
