@@Native_Beats_ It's more a doctrinal thing, a DMR is issued to a squad's marksman, while a sniper rifle is issued to a dedicated sniper team. Typically a DMR isn't as optimised for shooting at extremely long ranges (it's notoriously difficult to build a semi-auto rifle as accurate as a bolt-action) because it doesn't need to be given the role.

Just found out. Irish, the specialist in 2042, is the same Irish from BF 4. Which means one of 2 things for the ending of BF 4's campaign. Either Irish survived nuking a Chinese battleship with C4 and went MIA, or Hannah sacrificed herself, and the PRC continue down their path of becoming a totalitarian regime.
