What are you smoking lad? Like seriously he doesn’t come anywhere near on that list. He had a really good first season then slowly began fading away until he was eventually shipped out. His style of play has always been to poach inside the box which he is rather good at but there’s not much more to his game besides that. He was fortunate to play for Real Madrid even if only on loan. His stint there probably helped them more in the commercial aspect specifically in selling shirts. If we’re going to talk about the best strikers to ever play for the club the names being mentioned should be Cole, Yorke, Van Nistelrooy, Viollet, Rowley, Rooney, Law, Cantona, Bobby Charlton, Cristiano Ronaldo, etc. To be fair I like Chicharito but comparing him to some of these other names would be somewhat of an insult.

Javier was a very good football player and his time at United proved that. Under SAF he became a goal scoring machine when he was in front of the net. He would have had a much longer career there if SAF had not retired and Van Gaal became the manager. His style of playing did not suit the type of player Javier was and as a result Javier playing time dimished over time and it became apparent that it was time to move on. Playing for the Galaxy is a huge plus for him and I have every confidence that once again Javier will showcase his scoring talents.
