Hi everyone! In this video we spend the day on the beach at Planet Hollywood, Cancun. There are a lot of reports of seaweed in Mexico and throughout the video you can see how it changes throughout the day.
In the evening we visit the on site Mexican restaurant and see the "Glam & Rock" show which was a Queen Tribute act.

Hi guys, thanks so much for all Yr videos as we went to planet hollywood, it was the end of Yr first week. Totally loved it & felt like we knew where stuff was because of Yr videos. We kept looking out for yous to say hi but unfortunately didn't bump into yous. We will definitely go back as the hotel, staff, food & drink were great. Another great vlog. I’m surprised there wasn’t a beach bar/towel place on the beach but it’s no hardship to get it from the resort. The seaweed is a big problem as it’s brought in by the shape of the Yucatan peninsula and tides but all the hotels work tirelessly to clear it daily. Mexican food looked amazing and 20 min wait for freshly cooked food is acceptable and preferable to it coming from a buffet.

I wouldn’t mind having a little walk to pick up a towel for a beach day today. They did a great job with the seaweed but the amount of people you hear moan about it is incredible. Doesn't Mother Nature realise people are on holiday 😂

seaweed is used in japanese cooking all the time. honestly id the stuff as you'll likely eat it eventually. just what type you know. Kelp becomes Konbu, Laver becomes nori sheets, and a different type is used in stews and soups. i see it all the time as i worked restaurants most of my life.

Salt water sometimes actually acts as a skin scrub for eczema depending on the person. Salt is bacteria killer as it gets it out quickly. I've had no problems with ocean water as it actually cleaned my skin pretty good after a shower and i have Eczema too. but double check.

Another great video! I loved Mexico but I must say I don't think I'd return until something can be done about the sargassum (seaweed). I'm a scuba diver and snorkellers and when I went on some days it was impossible as the seaweed was so thick. Although they'd clear it off the beach, it would still be full on in the water. Obviously that's not Mexico's fault, but it's put me off enough. It's a shame as I loved the place!

I used to spend entire summers at the beach but Daytona beach. its a nice beach mostly but its really fallen down the scale. daytona lost its two amusement parks which had a rare roller coaster which was a PTC original but it crashed in 2004 sending people to the hospital. now we just have the piers and the boardwalk which is meh. its got nothing really but its still a decent fishing spot.

Thank you 😊 We genuinely had an amazing time there and not a single regret about booking. It has it's little faults as all resorts do but I'm sure that some people expect to be waited on hand and foot and not have to wait for anything because they are on holiday. Hi Kirsty, we absolutely loved it. It's a huge resort with lots to do. The only downside is that it's a bit out of the way but that's my only negative. The rooms are huge and really nicely done. It's Jimmy's favourite holiday to this day xx

Hi Samantha - we were there June 3rd - 17th. Don't worry about some of the reviews you read. There are waits for things the same as any other resort but if you are organised then it's no problem whatsoever. We will be doing a resort tour and hints and tips video in a few weeks 👍

I'm getting married here next year but I'm worried about some of the reviews, things getting stolen from rooms, staff being rude and not being able to get into restraunts at lunch time and evenings, did you have the same issue?

Hi, we used the safe in our room but left plenty of things in our room and nothing was ever taken. The staff that we encountered were 99% lovely and very friendly. We tend to eat early so we never really had any issues with dining. On one occasion we were given a buzzer and just went to the sports bar for a drink whilst we waited (ended up being about 30 mins). The people complaining seem suprised that you can't just walk in at 20:00... this would be the same everywhere and at lots of resorts you can only have one or two dinners at the speciality restaurants. We will have a resort tour and tips and hints video out in the next month or so and hopefully that will help put your minds at rest. I'm sure you'll have a great time and a fantastic wedding- its a beautiful resort.

Red flag means rip tides and strong surf. not a day you want to be in the water. Green flag means all is good. pretty standard if you live in florida as you watch the surf daily to possibly go out. red flags or double red you aren't going out that day.
