I'm old enough to remember products in the 1990's being all about the short prints and chase cards and not the guaranteed autos. So I understand and value this product. Beautiful set. Reminds me of simpler times when it was just about buying cards that were awesome to look at and collect instead of worrying about roi and $.

Topps had been killing it, but $250 was already pushing it for the price, with no auto guarantee I would like to see this in the $150 range. At $400, there’s just no chance you’re ever getting your money back, just insane!

$250 base price is where this should be. Not $400. But you can get your money back if you hit short prints. Planetary Pursuits are going to be expensive as all hell.

The cards look awesome! However, I wills say each box needs a couple more colors or refractors etc since there isn't a guaranteed auto. 3 colors and no auto for $300+ is insane!!

Agreed. Definitely designed for case breaks and not individual box purchases. Volume is king here.

Pretty cool cards and nice set, but man, no guaranteed auto for almost 400 on a hobby box? that´s a no for sure! topps have to do better. Nice cards today and nice hit for my red sox with that masataka yoshida! those planetary pursuit inserts are indeed so cool!

Even at the $250 Topps sold them at without an auto is bogus. $400 is resale market price. Either way $250 is too much when topps chrome platinum 2022 hobby is $100 per box with 5-7 numbered color and an auto.
