Steve Gadd is off the charts, A rudimental genius with those Flam accents and buzz rolls in part II. Nobody else can play this on drums, No-one.

Can anyone tell me how or who is playing the stuff that is almost 100% in sync with Steve Gadd's snare drum part in the second part of this song? Is it a trigger on the snare drum, or is it Chick playing with him and the parts are actually written out? I've wondered about this ever since I first bought the CD when it came out. Thanks in advance for any answers.

Its Chick playing... You can hear they are not 100% in sync like a computer, but thats not human, as you stated...;)

I also wondered this since I heard it! I thought maybe chick was holding the chords but the sound output gain was triggered by the input of the snare mic..MAYBE. But then again it's not on every single snare hit either.
