One of the biggest challenges for Chick-fil-A operators is hiring long-term. Since the average age of the team members at a restaurant is so low, there is typically a lot of turnover with positions. Chase Harper, the Operator of Chick-fil-A Frankfort, has found a strategic way to address this problem while both attracting and keeping young talent.
Chase Harper has made the intentional decision to make leader development a priority for team members at the restaurant. But because life as a dad, husband, and Operator can be busy, he initially found it challenging to find a way to still develop leaders on his team. That’s why he decided to take his team on Retreats to WinShape Teams where they focused on team and leader development.
As a result, Chick-fil-A Frankfort team members have grown in their roles and responsibilities at the restaurant while also helping the restaurant grow as well.
