Great call with flash frying the herbs! I wouldn't use an olive oil for frying though. Probably a rape seed, ground nut, or sunflower oil. Depends on how hot you want your oil.

Hey Chris, nice that you have introduced your son in the video. BBQ is all about family and friends. Do you use a thermometer whilst barbecuing? One of the most important tools imo.
@djbbq8 жыл бұрын
Thaki Christophides cheers for the message. I do use a temp gauge when cooking slow and low. Especially when I want to keep that cooker rocking between 235-250. Not so much with quick grilling. I just poke my food. Maybe I should. Haha.

I have to arrange it and record it first. that takes a couple of months since I am not a full time musician. I just made a demo with a vocal melody in my phone. I will seen it it to you as soon as I record it. I allways make the music, then the lyrics and finally the title. Its nice to start with a title "flavor in fuel" sounds playfull and dangerous.

@djbbq8 жыл бұрын
matt n he's 10 and is just starting to get into spicier food. His brothers are more adventurous
@Matt19matt198 жыл бұрын
DJ BBQ thanks im just wondering at what age kids start getting into spice. Ive got a 7 year old and shes just starting to like stuff. Oddly she likes spicy wings, didnt think kids would like chicken on the bone
@djbbq8 жыл бұрын
matt n it all depends on the individual but I think it helps to gradually introduce spice into their diet. Or like I did to my oldest, I gave him a grilled chilli pepper when he was 10 and set his mouth on fire properly
@Matt19matt198 жыл бұрын
DJ BBQ yeah i suppose if you go with too much too soon they will associate the word spicy as being painful lol. Ive only tried her with mild/medium curry and also wings that i made and had a bit of chilli in the coating
