Looking very nice but in reality not very nice. I tasted Royal's chaap and rumali roti on October 2018 in Kolkata but really sorry to say that it wasn't up to the expectation s. Naam bade aur darshan chhote. Chaap itna dry Tha ik Gale mein phas raha Tha roti bhi kuch khaas nahi. Usse kahi zyada tasty chicken chaap aur tandoori roti hamare asansol Royal mein milta Hai .

I saute sliced onions, whole elaichi, dalchini, cloves, javitri, jaiphal and cashews in oil till onions have turned light brown. Cool and make a paste with a cup of dahi. Marinate legthigh chicken pieces in this, add red chilly powder, two tbsp mustard oil, salt, kewra water. Smoke the chicken and marinade with hot red charcoal kept in a katori. Add a tbsp of ghee on hot coal. Cover the vessel. Keep overnight. In a flat vessel, add generously oil+ ghee. Heat. Put chicken+ marinade. Keep stirring. It will take 30-35 minutes cooking on slow fire. No water please. Check salt. Eat with rumali roti. Royal kay fail mariye debe.

i was born in Kolkata and i left Kolkata at the age of 21, i know very well all those Restaurant because i have visited most of the Restaurant,only i can say if you eat in those Restaurant, next day you go to Toilet several time because of stomach upset or cholera , simple because of non-hygenic problems, so the guy who is reporting does not know what he is talking about. i live in Canada after finishing my engineering graduation from London, there are so many Bangladeshi Restaurant , i visited several times but finally i stopped going because of fear of health. i cooked my self in home and never bother to go any Indian Restaurant, it was better to eat in London Fish and Chips rather than any Indian food. in my opinion always eat home made food. Do not trust any Reporter what they say.
