A lot of things are banned in baby food products and the ban was made in 1960s which was when there was not even any proof that it is harmful or safe. Many countries have reversed the ban since then. Name one proper source which says that msg is unsafe? Even if you don't trust scientific discoveries, use common sense. MSG is derived from seaweed which also happens to be one of the really important ingredients in Japanese and Korean cooking. Do you know the life expectancy of Japanese people? 85 years. Do you know the life expectancy of the average Indian who thinks that Indian cooking is the pinnacle of nutrition and MSG is bad? 65 years. Also, this is not associated with poverty or healthcare. Even if you earn well in India you still have a life expectancy of 65 years. MSG is a natural product and is present in nearly every food we eat. You and me eat it every day. Also in decent amounts.
