Chicken Egg Roll recipe:
Chicken Filling:
Chicken (small boneless pieces) - 500 grams
Oil - 2 tbsp
Onion (chopped) - 2 Cups
Salt - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder - ½ tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
Chilli Vinegar:
Vinegar - ¼ Cup
Green Chilli (chopped) - 2 tbsp
Other Ingredients (per Roll):
Oil - 1 tbsp
Parotta/Chapathi - 1 no
Egg (beaten) - 1 no
Onion (sliced) - 3 tbsp
Coriander Leaves (finely chopped) - 1 tsp
Chaat Masala - A Pinch
Cooking Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a pan and add the onions. Saute until it turns golden brown.
2. Add all the spice powders and ginger garlic paste. Saute for 1 minute on low heat.
3. Add the boneless chicken pieces and saute on high heat for 2 minutes.
4. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the chicken is completely cooked. If there is any excess liquid, cook without the lid until it has evaporated.
5. To make the chilli vinegar, combine the vinegar and chopped chillies in a bowl.
6. Heat oil in a flat pan and place the parotta/chapati. Once it has heated through, add the beaten egg on top. Once it starts to cook, flip and cook until the egg is cooked through, around 20 seconds. Remove it from the heat.
7. Add the chicken filling, sliced onion, coriander leaves, chilli vinegar and sprinkle chaat masala on top. Roll it up and enjoy!
