Chicken Galantina, SIMPOL!

28 days na lang pasko na! I’m so excited for Noche Buena dahil finally, makakasama ko ulit ang family ko! And tuwing Noche Buena, Isa ‘to sa mga favorite kong ihanda. It’s kinda complicated pero ginawa nating simpol ang preparation nito. Perfect for Noche Buena at pwede ring pang regalo!

Ingredients:
Set A
1 whole chicken
Salt
Pepper
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon thyme
2 tablespoons olive oil
Set B
¾ kg ground pork
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon thyme
Set C
½ cup cream
4 egg yolks
½ cup breadcrumbs
Set D
1 small carrots
2 cloves garlic
1 piece red bell pepper
1 piece white onion
Optional:
1 piece chorizo bilbao
½ cup pickle relish
½ cup raisins
½ cup ham
¼ cup cheese
Set E:
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil
Black pepper
Gravy
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoon flour
1 cup chicken stock
Salt and pepper

This is chicken *Ballontina*, not Galantina. Chicken galantina (galentine) is served cold. Chicken ballontina (ballontine) is served hot.
