Actually I really loved this story and it was a happy twist ending for Foxy Loxy and his family, it just goes to show that you should never trust a fox if you happen to be a farm bird.

😂😂.....indeed!! Whilst I’m reading these books I am often struck by just how scary and frankly brutal some of these stories were!! Mind you, it never stopped us loving them as kids. I think we were more interested in the beautiful illustrations rather than the tales being told!!🤪😁

Ive never read chicken licken before. Until the othernight my daughter really wanted me to read it. I tried not to show my surprise as I read the end. She looked at me laughed and said "The End NOM!" I wont lie it swerved me pretty good.
