Let's end this year with a bang!🎉 Paella is the perfect dish for gatherings🥘, and with its vibrant colors and loud flavors🤤, your guests are bound to be impressed!
Here is the recipe:
Ingredients🦐
500 g medium green king prawns, whiskers removed, deveined, patted dry
200 g sausages (approx. 2), cooked
2 garlic cloves
160 g yellow onions, cut in quarters
170 g red capsicum (approx. 1 capsicum), deseeded, cut in quarters
50 g olive oil
800 g chicken stock
400 g canned tomatoes, diced
500 g arborio rice (risotto rice), rinsed
½ tsp saffron threads
450 g chicken thigh fillets (approx. 6), cut in halves
½ tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp sugar
10 g sea salt, adjust to taste
½ tsp coarse black pepper
1-2 sprigs fresh Italian parsley, leaves only
3-4 lemon wedges

Preparation🧑🍳
1. In Thermomix® TM6, you can sauté the prawns in step 1 using the high temperature mode. Refer to Cookidoo for Sautéed Prawns recipes and cook the prawns in two batches of 250 g each.
2. Increase to high heat. Add beef sausage to the pan and pan fry for 3-4 minutes or until golden. Transfer to another bowl, set aside.
3. Place garlic cloves, onion and capsicum in a mixing bowl, chop 4 sec/speed 6. Scrape sides of mixing bowl with a spatula.
4. Add olive oil, sauté 5 min/120°C/speed 1 or until soft.
5. Add chicken stock and tomatoes, cook 8 min/100°C/speed 1.
6. Add rice, saffron, chicken fillets, smoked paprika, sugar, sea salt, and coarse black pepper, start Rice Cooker mode until almost all the liquid is absorbed. Transfer to a serving dish. Arrange reserved prawns and sausage to the serving bowl. Cover for 5 minutes or until the rice is tender and all liquid is absorbed. Top with parsley and lemon wedges. Serve warm.
