Let's make Special Chicken Pastel ♥
INGREDIENTS
450 g (15.8 oz) Chicken Fillet, cut into cubes or bite-size pieces
*you can usebone-in chicken if you're not making the pie
2-3 pcs. Calamansi
*or use 5 ml(1 tsp) of lime juice as substitute
30 ml (2 tbsp) Soy Sauce
2 g (1 tsp) Black Pepper
*Marinate for 20 minutes or up to 1 hour.
1 med. Green Bell Pepper
1 med. Red Bell Pepper
2 med. Potatoes
2 med. Carrots
4 cloves Garlic
1 med. Red Onion
400 g (14.1 oz) Canned Mushroom
*use the mushroom brine as well
14 g (1 tbsp) Salted Butter
1 g (1 tsp) Oregano
2 g (1 tsp) Paprika
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
75 g (1/2 cup) Corn
33 g (1/4 cup) Green Peas
1 pc. Chicken Bouillon Cube
15 ml (1 tbsp) Cooking Oil
237 ml (1 cup) All Purpose Cream
1 pc. Chorizo De Bilbao
2 pcs. Hotdog
Salt & Pepper, to taste
~Pie Crust~
180 g (1 1/2 cup) All Purpose Flour
3 g (1/2 tsp) Salt
113 g (1/2 cup) Salted Butter, cold
59 ml (4 tbsp) Water, cold
*Bake at a pre-heated 190°C (375°F) oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
