Also, if I can be a smart ass for a second, a roux is not really a sauce as much as a base for a sauce to be made. After your roux is made, you cook it for a minute to cook off the raw flour and then, depending on what you’re making, you can add milk, chicken stock, or whatever. The main job of a roux is to help make the soup/sauce thick. Anyways, great video as always!

@@Flameking20 very true, all I know is what she was doing with that roux made me want to never cook again. That’s so awesome to hear you went to culinary school and I apologize for this atrocity of a video, but there is more to come. Thanks for the support!
