Scrumptious chicken capsicum recipe, easy to make at home. Chicken shimla mirch cooked on wood fire offers another level of taste. Serve with parathas or rice, as you may like.
Ingredients:
1 Kg Chicken (Karahi Cut)
60 ML Oil
1 Tbsp. Chopped Garlic
2 Large Onions Chopped
4 Tomatoes Chopped
3 Capsicum Cubed
1 1/2 Tsp Salt
1 1/2 Tsp Red Chili Powder
1 Tsp Cumin Seeds (Zeera)
1 Tsp Dried Coriander (Sookha Dhanya)
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Power (Haldi)
Method:
Heat up the pan, add oil. Once heated, add 1 tbsp. chopped garlic, sauté for a min then add chopped onions, sauté for another 2mins then add chicken and cook for 10 mins until golden brown. Once the chicken changes its color, add all the spices in it and cook for another 2-3mins then add chopped tomatoes, stir for a while and then cover with lid and let it cook for another 10 mins. Remove the lid, give it a quick stir and then add cubed capsicums to it. Cook for another 2 mins and take it off of the stove. Ready to be served with chapati, paratha or rice!
