Then add potatoes mix well, add hot water enough to cover all ingredients, add a some green chilli (optional) and a handful of coriander. Cook until potatoes are soft and chicken is fully cooked this should take another 20mins apron.
Now add gram masala, fenugreek leaves, handful of coriander, mix well and leave on simmer for about 10min.

Hi what oil do you use is it mustard oil?
@TheBengaliCook
@TheBengaliCook Жыл бұрын
Hi thanks for asking, I mainly use veg oil and sometimes I do use mustard oil for a very traditional dish, always make sure to heat up the mustard oil piping hot before adding ingredients to start with it. Hope this helps and thanks again 🙌

Wow, Would there be a problem using chicken Breast. Will it taste the Same???
@TheBengaliCook
@TheBengaliCook 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much. Yeah can have it with chicken breast, however you would need to cook spices for longer, add potatoes first and cook them to 50% as chicken breast don’t take that long to cook. So taste unfortunately won’t be same. You can use chicken drumsticks, chicken legs instead. Hope this helps bud and definitely a banging recipe to try out.

Can someone tell me how long you cook out spices
@TheBengaliCook
@TheBengaliCook Жыл бұрын
Hey thanks so much for asking, cooking the spice on low medium heat for about 5mins adding tiny bit hot water each time the spices start to catch on to the pan, then add some chopped tomato, still cooking the spice further approx 5mins, adding water when needed until the tomatoes are soft. I’ve included written instructions for this recipe, you can find this under ‘description’ box. Hope this helps and thank again, enjoy 🙌🙌
