The first example, personally its quicker for me to load from cd, and because I edit sounds, I save to Zip , reload , and save the bank... the first method seems cumbersome... BUT.. The second example.... Holy Moly !! Thats friggin GOLD! I think its time to buy the SC2D hardware and transfer from my Syquest and Zips... To Add... I bought translator VER 1 DAY 1 . Back then I had the first G4 with an adapter scsi card.... and unlike other companies... As promised, updates for life. You guys are Awesome.

Hi from what synthesizers was made waveboy Transwave library?
@Chickensys3 жыл бұрын
I'm afraid I don't know. My best guess was that they were made "in the lab" and programmed to work as transwaves.

Cool video. Can an Ensoniq TS read song/seq data created on an ASR? How about a data file?
@chickeneps3 жыл бұрын
No, the TS can't read ASR seq/songdata AFAIK. Or a MIDI file. Ensoniq Disk Tools does convert ASR Songs and MID files to TS Songs though

Under actual OSX and Translator 7 propietary devices are not supported. So think about it if the software make sense....
@chickeneps4 жыл бұрын
This is incorrect. Translator 7 fully supports proprietary devices (Akai, Ensoniq, etc.) on OSX. The only exception - as of this writing Feb 17 2020 - is macOS 10.15, and that should be supported shortly. Even in that case, images/Virtual Drives are fully supported and can be created in Disk Utility.

Must be a special unreleased version of 6.1 build 25 because the menus do not match 100% and you cannot batch modify Ensoniq banks at the directory level on any Translator 6 versions. It only works on the entire volume level. The lack of that function makes batch editing mostly useless, and doing it manually bank-by-bank is tedious in the extreme. Even more depressing is that it's now 2022 and not 2019 and no v6.1 updates have been released.
