Yes…I remember as a young cook thinking that nutmeg was only for desserts. When I learned to make a bechamel is when I realized the difference that nutmeg made in white sauces like an Alfredo.

I certainly remember those days holding the babies how sweet now even my grandchildren are grown too old for that. But I do have a couple of little great-grandchildren that sometimes need the cuddles usually Oma takes care of that. . Chicken tetrazini looks wonderful I made a turkey tetrazini out of leftover turkey after Christmas. We loved it. It was nothing like leftover turkey at all. Was a nice change from the mullagatawny I usually make with turkey leftovers

Looks good, I'm going to be making a slow cooker chicken tetrazzini for dinner tomorrow night from Catherine's plates video. Get well boys, if they feel anything like I did, mine lasted a week, actually my husband and son had it also, sore throat, head congestion, headache, tired, I feel for them. If mom can't hold them though grandma will work! I always feel bad when little ones are sick, feel better boys! Hello Leslie! That looks delicious. I’m so sorry that Levi and Judah aren’t feeling well. Praying that they are feeling much better soon. God bless them with healing in their little bodies. Update on my foot: I got my stitches out this morning. Dr. Caldwell said that my foot is looking really good. I think I will be able to go to church Sunday. But I don’t think I’m ready to stand up to sing for 20 minutes to sing with the praise team. As soon as my foot hits the floor and I’m on it for very long it starts swelling up. The doctor said that is perfectly normal and that is what they want it to right now. It means it is healing. I got back in 4 weeks to get x-rays to see if the bones have healed up. Please pray that I am not in pain when I go back to church Sunday morning. Thank you and Bryant for your prayers in my behalf. Thank you so much for this video. God bless you on your anniversary! Am I the only person who doesn't like salt? I salt pasta when I cook it but I never cook with salt. We add salt when we eat if we need too and rarely do we need to. Watching u put all that salt in made my blood pressure shoot up...lol. I don't even like the taste of salt. Happy anniversary to u and Bryant. We will be celebrating our 23rd in a month. Im not a fan of salt. I order french fries , or whatever I order out, With NO salt! It burns my mouth, they put so much on food eating out. I sprinkle a tiny bit of sea salt on a baked potato. I add a little sea salt when cooking like pasta or soup. But it’s never enough where you even taste it. I get Tony chacheries Cajun seasoning with NO salt. Any kind of seasoning, I buy the no salt. Funny, I thought I was the only one… I just can’t handle it. Makes me blow up like a balloon and feel so puffy and extremely thirsty, very thirsty. Probably something in my chemistry that just can’t take it. I Know I’m not in the average though, so I never talk about it. Since I saw this comment though I had to chime in. Lol
