I have worn feather jackets made of chicken feathers but not the fibre, while I was working in the Himalayas and they were really very warm. I took the jacket with me, when I went to Scotland and it was comparable to branded jackets there. The only issue was that the pure feather was not hydrophobic and absorbed water.

Valuation ko sun ke Sharks negative ho gaye. Costly laga to bol do ki nahi kar sakte invest. Aapki valuation jyada hai bolke justify kyu kar rahe hai. Unko 100 cr ka valuation banana hai is liye vo utna maang rahe hai. Foreign mein is business la market kaafi jyada hai. Imdian product outside market mein export ho sakta tha. Okay. Time for harsh reality. Which in of the sharks share background with innovation? IIM alumni can only preach money and business. This product is all about innovation. Sharks aren't having any expertise to judge this particular product. Team Shark tank, bring some technical people also like Mechanical, Civil, Medicine (MBBS), Background people so that Innovation experience can be utilised and stuff like this product shouldn't go in vain.

But this is not a game of who's got the best innovation. There are many innovation but not all can be turned into a good business. And to understand whether or not it can actually be converted into a good business you need businessmen who are working in the same kind of environment. They all have connections with entrepreneurs and businessmen from different areas and sectors so they do have an idea of what is happening in the market. Plus since we are all humans we misjudge sometimes and while I do agree that they misjudged this one, this entrepreneur did not really even convince me of his valuation, so I understand why he couldn't convince them.
