I'll tell ya, watching chickens mate is one of THE funniest things I've ever seen. For those that don't know, The Rooster jumps on her back and uses his claws/feet to pin her wings down. The chicken's face is smashed into the ground. Respect to all Roosters for showing them who's Boss.

The hen bathes her feathers, protects herself from parasites when they burrow, bathes in the soil.

Hi thanks for commenting! We have a couple of soil pits for them though they are currently digging up this part of the grass. 😂 very cute, and we just collected a puppy today you can stay tuned to see her in future videos.
