The size of those fields are mind boggling. We have nothing like that down here in southern Mississippi. I've ridden my motorcycle thru Montana and lower Canada an it's over whelming when I see the size of those fields. I've been by the Welker farm in Montana and it too is incredible.

I am amazed by the scale and complexity of this operation. I grew up on a farm where we used a threshing machine and horse drawn wagons in the late 1940s. A few years later we modernized to a single self propelled combine, and I was the driver. There were bigger operators even then, but I could not have imagined this computerized, and GPS dependent farm.
